This report presents the outlines of the 4 main challenges for sustainable management of biodiversity that were identified by the project. The challenge outlines are based on the results of a large stakeholders’ consultation, the conclusions of NetBiome-CSA's 1st International conference and the results of the 1st session of parallel workshops between stakeholders and experts from all the regions, in collaboration with the Advisory Board and the Stakeholder Panel of the project.
These Challenges are:
Challenge 1- Integrated Biodiversity conservation through spatial planning
Challenge 2 - Sustainable agriculture and forestry practices
Challenge 3 - Sustainable management and effective conservation of biodiversity
Challenge 4- Knowledge base decision making in marine and coastal issues
